KICC -  Click for a larger view The tour covers the modern City Center, Colorful City Market, and Railway Station where the history of this City originates among other buildings. Also included is a visit to the well-displayed National Museum of Kenya and the adjacent Snake Park.


Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Center
You will be driven toward Ngong Hills to the Karen Blixen Museum, situated 30 minutes drive outside Nairobi City Center.

Here you have the opportunity to experience the former residence of the world famous Danish writer Karen Blixen (Out of Africa) and to admire the view of the Ngong Hills from the beautiful gardens. Proceed to Giraffe Centre where you come face to face with the tallest mammal on earth; having a chance to even feed them with your bare hand.


Carnivore Restaurant
Nairobi has many restaurants offering varieties of cuisine but The Carnivore Restaurant has become quite famous for its combination of tasty cuisine with emphasis on barbecue meat in pleasant surroundings. Apart from beef, pork and other traditional meats, you may have the opportunity to taste a variety of game meat including Giraffe, Zebra and Crocodile.

Compressive tout of the island will include the Fort Jesus, built by the Portuguese in 1593,guarding the entrance to the old Harbour. It still stands today as a museum holding a fascinating collection of historic coastal artifacts.

The tour further takes you to narrow twisting alleys, displaying the beautifully carved doors, goldsmiths and curio shops, Hindu temple and finally the Akamba handcraft Co-operative, where over 1900 members produce a great variety of every reasonably priced wood carvings. Before returning to your hotel, a drive to the bazaars for a short shopping expedition

Being the gateway to East Africa, the Kenya coast has a striking and colourful mixture of people and cultures that have defied the passage of time.

Beyond the palm fringed white sandy beaches and extending from North to South lies a spectacular coral barrier reef which runs for a distance of four hundred and eighty kilometers and teems with wonders of under water explorations in the blue lagoons and creeks.

The area has an overwhelming birdlife in the mangrove forests and on the overhanging cliffs. These attractions coupled with a variety of entertainment and superb accommodation facilities make the Kenya Coast an incomparable holiday circuit for both beach and nature lovers.
